Faces of Nigeria

Note: In line with this year’s theme, we plan to feature individuals who identify as or with Nigeria as part of our fashion show, symbolizing the “change” that has come. If you would like to, or know anyone who would be interested in modeling in the fashion show or having their fashion designs featured in the show, please fill out the Google Form below, or send an email to harvardnsa10@gmail.com. Please keep in mind, you do not have to be Nigerian to participate! We look forward to hearing from you!

Wazobia Week 2018

The term Wazobia encompasses the three largest tribes of Nigeria. Specifically, it is the different ways of greeting in Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo combined into one word.

In our first ever Wazobia Week, the NSA went beyond these three tribes to celebrate the dynamism and beauty of all parts of Nigerian culture. Throughout the week, we held events that  fostered important conversations about pressing issues in the lives of Nigerians and members of the Nigerian diaspora.
