Wazobia Week 2018 – Professional Panel

As part of Wazobia Week, the NSA hosted a professional panel in which we invited Nigerian Harvard and MIT alumni in a variety of different fields to speak to our membership. In this immersive panel, speakers offered advice on navigating the workplace and building their careers from a uniquely Nigerian perspective. The panel was moderated by the lovely Ifeoluwa Obayan.

Wazobia Week 2018

The term Wazobia encompasses the three largest tribes of Nigeria. Specifically, it is the different ways of greeting in Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo combined into one word.

In our first ever Wazobia Week, the NSA went beyond these three tribes to celebrate the dynamism and beauty of all parts of Nigerian culture. Throughout the week, we held events that  fostered important conversations about pressing issues in the lives of Nigerians and members of the Nigerian diaspora.
